I've always found it very beautiful view of the Straits of Messina, known since the earliest antiquity to the tales of Homer in the Odyssey that Odysseus passes in these parts, torn between Scylla and Charybdis. True there are still treacherous currents for swimmers who recklessly venturing offshore. But we should not exaggerate the dangers. There are no sharks or giant polyps, or tides, which rise up to twelve feet, or high waves that can crush those who come to the shore. These are characteristics of the oceans. The Mediterranean looks Household and here we are exactly in the middle in the Strait in the Mediterranean. In this post I gather the views of the Strait which I think are more beautiful.
